In the history of fine retail establishments in Buffalo and Western New York, none has maintained a reputation of quality and service, or has survived as long as Furs by Russell, formerly Joseph Palanker and Sons. Russell Rizzo, President and CEO, was originally employed by the Palanker family at the age of 18, rose to the position of Vice-President, and in 2001 became owner of what is now known as Furs by Russell.
